The Song and Dance Group of Hrubieszów Region was established in 1987, it assembles the children and youth from schools in Hrubieszów, who like the folklore and culture.
During 18 years of its activity The Group got a lot of prizes and distinctions in the country and abroad.
     The Group possesses verification of The International Dance Federation C.I.O.F.F, which makes possible to represent Poland at folk festivals woldwide. Its artistic property was presented at Ukraine, Slovakia, The Czech Republic, Denmark, Spain, Germany, Turkey, Sardynia, Italy, The Vatican City, Lithuania, Belarus, Portugal, France, Serbia, Macedonia, Greece and Croatia. The most important event in the life of The Group was a preformacne dedicated to Pope John Paul II in 2000 in The Vatican city.
     Children and youth from 7 to 21 years old can dance in The Group. There are 5 dancing groups and more than 100 people.
The Song and Dance Group Song of Hrubieszów Region is the beautiful visiting-card of the town and the region and it is better every year.
     Grażyna Temporowicz is the founter, artistic manager and choreographer of The Folk Group.
